Anyone born after 2015 will have received the meningitis B (MenB) vaccine as part of the routine childhood immunisation schedule.
At this time, there is no catch‑up programme available for MenB vaccinations.
From August 2015 children in school year 9 have been vaccinated with the menACWY vaccination which protects against other strains of meningitis. If you missed your menACWY vaccination you can ask to have a menACWY vaccination at your GP practice up to your 25th birthday.
You can check your vaccination history via the NHS App.
