Prescription Medication Orders
How to Order Your Repeat Medication:
- Online: if you don’t have online access ask a receptionist at the desk for further information.
- By Phone: Call 0191 2958514 (lines are open from 9am-12pm and 1pm-5pm). A voicemail service is available outside of these hours.
- By Post: Drop your request in the reception post box.
- In Person: Ask the receptionist at the desk.
Important: Please order your medication in advance.
To help avoid delays, we recommend requesting your next prescription when you have 7 days remaining of your current medication. This gives us time to complete any necessary administrative or clinical checks.
If you don’t provide 7 days’ notice, your request may be delayed, which could result in you running out of medication and needing to request an emergency supply through NHS 111.
Note: Controlled drug prescriptions are issued on a 28-day cycle and cannot be provided earlier than the due date.
